    • Don’t forget Wheels of War this coming weekend.

      The exhibtion hall is being prepared this week end’s event which is the annual Wheels of War weekend organised by the Crewe & District Military Vehicle Club which takes place on Saturday and Sunday 23rd/24th of September 2017 from 10.00am to 5.00pm each day.

    • Arrival of DBSO at Crewe heritage Centre

      Driving Brake Second Open 9711 has arrived at Crewe heritage Centre for Restoration. It has been reunited with the Class 47 – Lady Dianna Spencer – with which it used to provided the driving position for the push-pull service. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driving_Brake_Standard_Open.

    • 1940s Canteen Dance Party

      As part of the Wheels of War weekend the Saturday night sees a 1940s Canteen Dance taking place with live music from the Wychcraft Big Band. The dance is from 7.30pm to 11.00pm with 1940s dress encouraged but not required.
