This year the DRS Depot at Gresty Bridge, Crewe is hosting its Open Day on Saturday 23rd July and the Crewe Diesel Preservation Group’s Class 47 locomotive 47712 will be attending the event where it will be officially renamed ‘Lady Diana Spencer’. The locomotive will then return to the Heritage Centre for display throughout the remainder of our season. On the Saturday we are offering visitors to the DRS Open day half price admission to the Heritage Centre upon presentation of their Open Day tickets on arrival at the Centre.
