We are pleased to report that Stanier Pacific numer 46233 Duchess of Sutherland arrived on site today (July 15th) for the start of the summer season of tours organised by the Railway Touring Company. The first of the Cumbrian Mountain Express trips being this coming Saturday (July 18th). The locomotive will be on display this coming Sunday and will be with us for the summer season. We also expect the arrival of former LMS Jubilee class locomotive 45690 Leander on Saturday afternoon to work the first of the North Wales Coast Express trips this coming Sunday.
