With the winter season well underway we have been busier then ever getting ready for the 2016 season, The Advanced Passenger Train has been receiving a lot of attention recently with the ‘exhibition coach’ located next to our carpark receiving a new set of chairs and a table and also a TV has been installed as part of the APT exhibition. Also on the APT we have been busy removing the blue paint that was applied the the Guards Compartment several years ago, as part of our attempt to bring it back to its original style. Finally on the APT we have also added some new steps to the Driving Cab; replacing the older steep ones.

Work has also commenced on our Miniature Railway with some sections of track and sleepers being replaced. If you are interested in volunteering then why not or drop in and talk to us at the weekend.
